I was recently invited by Diana Schad to be interviewed on her Night Nurse show on Radio Pulse. We chatted about photography, music and I got to play a few of my favourite tracks. Diana also kindly played "Make It Work" - one of my own songs from an EP I released in 2007 when I was trying to be a singer/songwriter. Who would've thought it would ever get a radio premiere? Stuart and Kirsty, the styling dream team behind I'll Be Your Mirror, kindly approached me earlier this year to work with them on promotional images for HOT GEM's promising young singer/songwriter Monkoora. The artist's beautiful red hair provided the perfect opportunity for us to indulge in our shared Guy Bourdin obsession and it was his work as well as photographs by Nadia Lee Cohen that populated our mood board for the shoot. I'm working with I'll Be Your Mirror again in a couple of weeks (excited!), in the meantime here are some images from the Monkoora shoot:

Ludovic Favier is a brilliant French model whom I had the pleasure of photographing last June in Spain. We wandered through the streets and parks of Barcelona in scorching heat looking for locations, chatting and taking photos - totally laid back and old school; just us two and the camera:
Working with Paul Hodgkiss. Photographing designs by Paul Hodgkiss truly isn't a difficult task. His beautiful, unique, hand-crafted furniture pieces with variety of curves and textures are as photogenic as house fittings can get. Having captured Paul's design work at such places as The Meat Bar, Palomino and Bowmore Hotel I was commissioned to photograph his stunning, newly open showroom in Glasgow's South Side as well as the workshop where the original pieces take shape:

My very first shoot this year was a blast! I met singer/songwriter Caroline Gilmour in 2014 and we collaborated then on her Paper Planes release. We got together again in January this year to shoot cover and promo images for her brand new EP Electric Waterfalls (released this month). Vivienne Masters was in charge of styling the shoot and Caroline Stewart did wonders with hair and make up:
