It Never Rains But It Pours

"How did Macarena go again?"

I had a few relatively quiet weeks work-wise and then BANG! - one photoshoot after another. Firstly, some fashion and glamour for you - Italian/Glasgow style:

That would be me bossing around the fabulous Silvia Pellegrino, fashion designer and stylist at Chouchou (I'm on the right, should anyone have doubts...). We did a shoot together last year, had a great time and have been talking about doing another one ever since. Here's a little preview of what's to come:

And since music is not that far from fashion, straight after Silvia I went to photograph a very talented, up and coming singer/songwriter Emma Jane:

We met briefly last year when she was supporting Jill Jackson on one of her gigs and I even took a few shots of Emma performing that night (what a voice by the way!) but this was our first time working together and I hope it won't be last. I also hope Emma Jane has forgiven me for making her stand in pouring rain for some of the shots...

Speaking of Jill Jackson and suffering for art... This reminded me of the cover shoot for her The Ones That Got Away album where Jill ended up knee deep in freezing Loch Lomond waters on a very cold and particularly misty November day:

Anyways... I'm up to my eyeballs in editing so it would be wise for me to get back to it...

PS. For those interested - the Madonna gig in Edinburgh was beyond fantastic but that's a whole other blog entry altogether!
