Crazy July

July so far this year has been rather crazy on many levels (and I'm not just talking about the weather which, since the end of June, has clearly been on the loony side...). This month seems to be unusually packed with exciting events both personally and professionally. So, for example, I finally got a long-delayed tattoo done (at Custom Inc in Finnieston):

My sister took the pictures. She insisted on being there, presumably to watch me suffer up close but it wasn't as sore as it looks, I promise.

Then I was off to London to visit my friends. I saw a show (Singing In The Rainin Palace Theatre was SPECTACULAR), popped in to Tate Modern (Hirst is definitely not my cup of tea) and, most importantly, got shown the kind of London the average tourist doesn't get a chance to see very often:

And this Saturday, after having a look at how my work is doing at Friday's preview of "Who’s for the Game?" exhibition at The Virginia Gallery, I'm off to Edinburgh to see the Mother of All Pop Stars who is gracing Scotland with a live date for the first time ever:

Let's hope it doesn't rain...

Ah yes, of course I'm doing various shoots as well but I'll leave that for the next installment.
