I managed to edit the Skerryvore live photos from last week, I'm very pleased with the results and hopefully will be able to share some of them soon. For the time being however, a little post about a boxing shoot I did last Sunday. I was given the opportunity by The Virginia Gallery to take part in this year's Merchant City Festival. The gallery will be exhibiting 3 photographs of mine which will also be turned into large format outdoor posters accompanying the event. The theme for the festival is "Who's for the Game?" so I thought sport-related images might work well (I know, how innovative of me...). I had two older shots already chosen but I thought it would be great to have something fresh added to the selection. And so this Sunday the lovely Andrew, who's no stranger to my lens, was smeared in charcoal and sprayed with water before being asked to jump, punch and shout at the camera (he might've been shouting at me to be honest and who can blame him?).

...and here's the image to be included in the exhibition:

What do you think?

PS.  All my work at The Virginia Gallery will be available for purchase by the way. Hint, hint, hint, hint... ;-)
